Exhaust Leaks and Damaged Pipes
Road salt, moisture and years of driving can leave exhaust pipes thin, cracked or broken. We inspect the damaged area and discuss whether a sound repair is possible or whether a section needs replacing.
Repairing Instead of Replacing Everything
Tim enjoys refurbishing usable exhaust parts. When the surrounding metal is sound, welding or replacing a smaller section may make sense. When corrosion is extensive or a component is unsafe, replacement may be the better choice.
Common Exhaust Problems
Rattles and Loose Parts
Damaged hangers, clamps and connections can cause unwanted noise.
Leaks and Rusted Sections
Cracked or corroded piping may need welding, a new section or replacement.
